At R3 Feral Cat Rescue Inc., our mission is clear, compassionate, and rooted in action:
Rescue. Rehabilitate. Rehome.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are dedicated to giving feral, stray, and abandoned cats the chance to live with dignity, safety, and purpose. Through hands-on rescue and sustainable solutions, we transform the lives of cats who would otherwise have none.

What We Do

• Rescue
We act quickly when cats are in danger—removing them from unsafe conditions, addressing cruelty or neglect, and stepping in during large colony crises. A core part of our rescue efforts includes TNR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return), the most effective and humane approach to stabilizing feral cat colonies, ending the breeding cycle, and improving the overall health of both cats and communities.

• Rehabilitate
Cats in our care receive medical treatment, vaccinations, and recovery support in foster homes. Some require long-term rehabilitation and socialization to trust humans, while others simply need a safe place to heal before moving on to the next chapter of their lives.

• Rehome
We work tirelessly to match adoptable cats with loving families. For semi-feral cats or those who cannot be safely returned to their original colonies, we offer an alternative through our Barn & Farm Cat Program. These cats thrive in safe, working environments—such as barns, stables, garages, or warehouses—where they provide natural pest control while receiving food, shelter, and ongoing care.

Why It Matters

Feral cat overpopulation is a community-wide challenge that cannot be solved by shelter intake alone. By combining rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, TNR programs, and safe barn/farm placements, we are breaking the cycle of suffering while giving every cat a future that fits their needs.
